2008 ACCOMPLISHMENTS February 29th, Leap Day 1st Annual Healthy Heart Day in memory of Senator Gwendolyn Britt & Delegate Jane Lawton 16 Legislators and over 30 other staff and personnel took advantage of a free EKG, cardiovascular risk factor screening, and a consultation by MDACC members. MDACC partnered with Anne Arundel Health System, the American Heart Association and the Maryland Nurses Association to make this first public outreach event a huge success.
